Ministry Leaders Originally from Lavaca, Arkansas, Bro. Danny has  served as Pastor of First Baptist Church since July, 1992.  He previously served as Associate Pastor at Hilltop  Baptist Church in Weatherford, Texas while attending  Southwestern Seminary. Brother Danny and his wife Teresa have three children.  Lee, the oldest son, is now married to the lovely Meagan  (formerly) Zumwalt and lives in London. Bobby graduated from Russellville High  School in 2008 and works in Russellville. Allie is the youngest and currently attends  Russellville High School.   Bro. Alan joined the staff of LFBC in June of 1999.  Before their marriage, He and Tracy, were very active in  the collegiate ministry at Arkansas Tech and Alan felt  that, perhaps, the Lord was preparing him for work in  that field. But God had other plans. Twelve years at  LFBC, a lovely new wife, and two adorable (and active!)  baby boys have removed all thoughts of that "other"  ministry. Completely dedicated to the students under his care, Bro. Alan's goal is to see that our  Youth and College ministries continue to offer a variety of activities that cover all of the   spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of today's young men and women.  LFBC is prayerfully searching for the man God is calling to lead the Worship Ministry Team.  Our talented muscians and blended worship style have helped lead many ‘to the throne room’ during our worship services. Although presently a part-time staff position, LFBC’s  Worship Leader is viewed as indespensible to spiritual  health and welfare of our church family.  Miss Kristin Mengis joined the LFBC staff in late  August, 2009. As the newest member of the leadership  team, Miss Kristin continues to bring excitement and  new ideas to our Children's Ministry.    Miss Kris leads our Children’s Worship Service on  Sunday mornings.  ‘Worship Kidstyle’ is a favorite with  the kids and “allows kids to worship like kids”.  In addition to Sunday Morning worship, Miss Kris oversees ‘TeamKid’ on Wednesday evening as well as all other aspects of LFBC’s exceptional children’s ministry. Dania Efird Mrs. Dania wears many  ‘ministry hats’ at LFBC.  She  serves as both Women’s  Ministry Director and Preschool  Director.  In addition, Dania  teaches preschool TeamKid on  Wednesday evenings as well as  coordinating Date Nights for  LFBC parents, simulcast events,  and a host of other fun and  important activities  Joseph Gearhart Joseph is the newest staff  member at LFBC and his  primary ministry is to serve  alongside Bro. Alan in our  Student Ministry.  He helps lead  the Student’s Sunday Evening  Worship Time as well as  accompanying the group on  mission trips and other ministry  adventures.  Joseph is also very  involved in the Worship  Ministry at LFBC and plays  drums in the praise band.  Mike West Bro. Mike serves as Mission  Pastor for Flatrock Baptist  Mission.  With the support of  wife Dana and his wonderful  children, Mike's task is to  shepherd the flock at FRBC and  to bring them to the point where  they can again assume full  autonomous church status  Made with Xara
